Boston Acoustics Release i-DS2 iPod Dual High Performance Speaker System

Boston Acoustics have released what could, not unreasonably, be considered to be a somewhat stripped down – and therefore markedly cheaper – version of its Duo-i AM/FM Stereo Radio with iPod Dock in the form of the i-DS2 iPod Speaker System which features dual high performance, full range speakers mounted in an acoustically tuned chamber ‘for maximum bass’ and a mini remote but which, unlike the aforementioned Duo-I, does not come with an integrated display – which, considering the price of the i-DS2, seems pretty much inexcusable (certainly from our perspective).
Boston Acoustics i-DS2 iPod Speaker System Key Features:
- Dual high performance 31/2″ full-range speakers
- Controls and charges all dockable iPod models
- 15 watts RMS/30 watts Dynamic Output Power per channel
- Remote control puts basic iPod functions at your fingertips
- Auxiliary input for connecting additional media players
- Composite Video Output for video-capable iPods
- USB connector for iPod communication with iTunes
Measuring in at 140x324x148mm, the Boston Acoustics i-DS2 iPod Speaker System will set you back just shy of $180.
