Revo Intro Pico RadioStation Portable Hybrid DAB & Wi-Fi Internet Radio

Revo have announced what it terms as being ‘the ultimate incarnation’ of its award-winning Pico Portable Digital Radio in the form of its new Pico RadioStation Portable Hybrid DAB & Wi-Fi Internet Radio which, apart from offering compatibility with DAB and DAB+ broadcasts (as well as over 11,000 internet radio stations via either a Wi-Fi or LAN connection) can also wirelessly stream music from your PC and Mac.

Billed as being splashproof (meaning, we assume, that the Revo Pico RadioStation can be used safely in bathrooms, kitchens, etc), the device, which, in being DAB+ compatible offers full support for error correction and AAC+ compression, offers a purported battery life of up to 12 hours based on a full charge of its integrated lithium-ion battery and comes complete with stereo RCA line-out and headphone connections as well as a remote.

Measuring in at 167 x 105 x 105mm, a full spec sheet concerning the RDS compatible Revo Pico RadioStation is currently not available at the time of writing (so we are unable to ascertain sound output, etc), however, we can confirm that the Pico RadioStation is due to become available sometime in September in the UK when it will retail for around £170 (circa $318).
