Utilising SDHC memory cards for storage (the AHD 300 comes with a mere 128MB of internal storage capacity) which offer up to eight hours of 1080p footage to be captured when using a 32GB capacity card, the 120 x 73 x 34mm Aiptek AHD 300 also offers 8MP still capture capabilities complete with (an admittedly not in the least impressive) 4x digital zoom and, of course, should you wish to create video content for uploading to video sharing sites such as YouTube you’ll find that you’re fully catered for with a separate ‘Web’ mode being available.

Agreed, the specifications are not exactly heart-stopping but when you factor in that the Aiptek AHD 300 will set you back a mere £130 (roughly $250) then there’s little doubt that the AHD 300 becomes an altogether more interesting proposition.
