It seems that not a single week passes without yet another variant of Asus’s Eee PC mini/micro notebook surfacing and this week is no exception with a new Eee in the form of the Eee PC 900A appearing which, in essence, appears to be a new Intel Atom N270 Atom powered version of the stock, Celeron powered Eee PC 900.

Just like the Eee PC 900, the Eee PC 900A – which measures in at 225 x 20-33.8 x 170mm - sports a 8.9” 1024 x 600 WSVGA resolution TFT display as a well as coming with 1GB of DDR2 RAM, an integrated webcam, wireless and Ethernet LAN connections and the Linux operating system pre-installed. Additionally the 900A comes with either an optional 8GB or a 16GB SSD, 3 USB 2.0 ports, VGA output and an integrated SD/MMC memory card slot and, somewhat surprisingly, is already available in Germany for just shy of €299 (which equates to around $460 as at the time of writing).
No word as to whether the Eee PC 900A will see a wider, international release.
