Let’s be honest here, USB flash drives are, on the whole, hardly the most riveting of items and thus are particularly hard to wax lyrical about but we have to hand it to Kingston Technology for coming up with a series of new USB flash drives – known as the DataTraveler Mini Slim USB Flash Drives - that are, it has to be said, almost interesting not only due to their rather swanky aesthetics but also on account of their particularly small form factor and the highly competitive pricing structure concerning the two capacities offered in the new line up.

Billed in Kingston Technology’s press release as being ‘a great fashion accessory’ the new DataTraveler Mini Slim USB drives come in black, blue and the all too obligatory pink, offer either 2GB or 4GB of storage capacity and measure in at a mere 38.85mm x 16.40mm x 6.44mm (thus making them highly portable and, we would venture, especially easy to misplace) whilst setting you back a mere $11 and $19 for the 2GB/4GB capacity drives respectively.
