New iRiver Volcano T7 Flash Based Digital Audio Player Released

Those in the market fro a new, flash based digital audio player may be interested to know that iRiver’s new Volcano T7 USB stick type DAP, which offers either 4GB or 8GB of storage capacity and comes complete with SRS WOW HD sound enhancement technology and an integrated 64 x 128 resolution OLED display, has just been released.

Offering MP3, WMA, ASF, and the much under supported OGG audio file format compatibility, the diminutive iRiver Volcano T7 DAP – which measures in at a mere 3.3″ x 1.0″ x 0.4″ and weighs just 0.93 ounces – comes with built-in 30 preset FM tuner and voice memo recording functionality (as well as, interestingly, the ability to record FM broadcasts directly to file) and offers a purported battery life of up to 18 hours playback based on a full charge.
Admittedly, for many the iRiver Volcano T7 DAP will hardly appeal to those looking to replace their primary DAP but, as a secondary, highly portable (somewhat expendable) device for use whilst (say) working out in the gym there’s no doubt that the Volcano T7 would more than suffice.

Available in white, black, blue, brown (known as ‘Chocolate’) and, of course, pink iRiver’s Volcano T7 DAP will set you back around $59 and $79 for the 4GB and 8GB versions respectively.
