Asus Eee PC 701SD Mini Notebook First Images Reveal Design Revisions

The first images and details concerning Asus’s up and coming new Eee, namely the Asus Eee PC 701SD mini notebook, have surfaced on the net and reveal that the new entry level 7” display Eee will borrow elements from the Eee 901’s sharper edged design whilst also offering revised trackpad buttons whilst sporting the new Eee PC logo.

Official details are extremely scant at the time of writing, however, what is known is that the Eee PC 701SD will probably be offered in a number of versions with at least one model coming with a 30GB hard disk drive and, whilst mere speculation at this stage, the Eee PC 701SD is widely expected to be a 1.6GHz Atom powered device with at least one model (Eee PC 701SD-4G?) suspected to come with the same 4GB of flash memory as offered on the Eee 7” models currently available.
