If you’re in the market for a new monitor that’s fully HD compliant, Dell’s newly released S2409W widescreen flat panel monitor could be worth consideration though, admittedly, apart from the screen’s 16:9 aspect ratio and 1920 x 1080 resolution full HD (1080p) capabilities Dell’s new 27” S2409W will fail to impress many with its otherwise wholly humdrum specifications.

Aside from its not unattractive gloss black bevel and uncomplicated aesthetics, Dell’s S2409W naturally sports HDMI as well as DVI/VGA connections but the more discerning amongst you will undoubtedly feel less than inspired by the S2409W’s 5ms response time (which is okay, but far from spectacular), or the screen’s 300 cd/m2 brightness and 1,000:1 contrast ratio.
