
Panasonic have announced that their CF-52 and CF-74 Toughbook ‘semi rugged’ notebooks, which feature 15.4” and 13.3” displays respectively as well as inbuilt carrying handles, magnesium alloy cases, spill resistant keyboards and shock-mounted hard drives have been upgraded to incorporate Intel’s Centrino 2 processor, enhanced video and graphics capabilities, larger capacity 160GB hard drives and integrated 802.11n Wi-Fi.
Panasonic’s newly revised Toughbook CF-52 and Toughbook CF-74 Notebooks will both become available in August with the CF-52 being offered in two versions – namely the value and premium (featuring ‘improved video and system performance’ – which will retail for around $1950 and $2850 respectively whilst the CF-74 will set you back just shy of $3200.
