
Along with announcing their new EasyShare Z1015 IS, as well as two new models in its EasyShare digital photo frame range, Kodak have also detailed the latest addition to their M Series of point and shoot automatics in the form of the 10 megapixel EasyShare M1093 IS which, like the aforementioned EasyShare Z1015 IS comes complete with Kodak’s Smart Capture feature ensuring, according to Kodak, that ‘consumers capture moments that would have otherwise been missed, thanks to its intuitive and automatic scene detection and setting control’.
Apart from sporting a 10 megapixel sensor and 3x optical zoom, Kodak’s new EasyShare M1093 IS comes with all the features you’d expect from a point and shoot compact including face detection, image stabilization, intelligent scene detection and capture control and as well as being capable of capturing HD quality imagery in 19:9 format the M1093 can also capture both 720p and 1080i HD video using MPEG-4 encoding.

Kodak’s new EasyShare M1093 IS is set for release this September and will retail at around the $200 price point.
