For those of you looking for a highly portable stereo recorder that’s capable of capturing ‘better than CD’ quality PMC recordings of everything from you strumming your guitar to capturing full blown group gigs (including, we dare say, those of you intent on bootlegging) this LS-10 Linear PCM Stereo Portable Recorder from Qlympus should fit the bill rather nicely.

Capable of recording in either PCM, MP3 or WMA file formats at up to 96 kHz in glorious 24-bit (when in linear PCM mode), the Olympus LS-10 comes with 2GB of internal memory allowing for between 55 minutes and just over 3 hours recording depending on the selected recording quality whilst further storage capacity can be added up to a further 8GB thanks to an integral SD/SDHC card reader.
