Sony have release an official walkthrough of their new, up and coming Firmware 2.40 update for the PS3 which few will argue brings many things to the table that Microsoft’s Xbox 360 has long since offered such as in gaming messaging and the ability to play user selectable music in game though the video offers little by way of information concerning the new, much (over) hyped PS3 trophy system – which is reserved for a separate presentation to be released ‘next time’.
Personally, if I were a PS3 owner (as opposed to a 360 owner) I’d feel wholly underwhelmed but, hopefully, the next presentation concerning the PS3’s new trophy system will prove a little more inspiring.
