Four New Pioneer Blu-Ray Players Set For European Release

Pioneer has unveiled four new high-end Blu-ray players set to hit the European market in the form of the BDP-LX91, BDP-LX08, BDP-LX71 and BDP-51FD with highlights including a newly designed chipset capable of delivering 1080p at 24 frames per second as well as a double-layered chassis and dedicated audio and video boards.

Billed as ‘Taking full advantage of HDMI connectivity and the most cutting-edge video processing available, they provide pure images to deliver the full emotional impact of Blu-ray Disc films as the director intended’ Pioneer’s new Blu-ray players offer HDMI 12-bit deep colour, full support of DTS HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD lossless digital audio formats, and professional-quality Wolfson Digital Audio Converters (DACs) with up to 7.1 channel sound being on offer.
According to Pioneer, the BDP-LX71 will be available in September whilst the BDP-51FD and the BDP-LX08 will arrive in October with the BDP-LX91 becoming available later in Q4.
