Speedo have announced a new Speedo branded MP3 player, manufactured by none other than iRiver (a company whose products we have the utmost respect for) which is known as the Speedo Aquabeat and, apart from being waterproof will also float, making the Aquabeat the perfect poolside companion this holiday season.

Apart from boasting waterproofing to depths of three meters, Speedo’s Aquabeat DAP, which weighs in at a mere 35 grams, comes with 1GB of internal storage capacity, offers up to nine hours playback endurance based on a full charge and have already been made available in range of suitably bright colours for just $145 a pop.
