JVC Set To Release P-Series LCD HDTV Units with Integrated iPod Docks

Following on from JVC’s announcement concerning their new super slim LT-42SL89 and LT-46SL89 HDTV sets – billed as the worlds thinnest HDTVs with integrated TV tuners – JVC have also announced a new range of four new P-Series LCD HDTVs featuring built-in iPod docks ranging from the 32” LT-32P679 up to the 52” LT-52P789.

The four new JVC models consist of the 32” LT-32P679, 42” LT-42P789, 47” LT-47P789 and the 52” LT-52P789 which all offer full HD 1080p resolution with the exception of the 32” LT-32P679 which is a 768p device.

All will charge your iPod regardless of whether the unit is on, in standby or off and come with 3 HDMI as well as two component inputs with S-video input, SPDIF and an analog audio out connection being in evidence (the latter allowing you to hear your docked iPod via a home theater system.

Due to be released from August, the 52” LT-52P789 will set you back around $3200 (approximately £1620/€2042 at the time of writing).
