Panasonic RP-WF5500 5.1Channel Wireless Surround Sound Headphones Poised For Release

Dolby Digital 5.1 Headphones

Panasonic RP-WF5500 Wireless Surround Sound Headphones

Back in October of last year we posted about Panasonic’s up and coming RP-WF5500 5.1channel wireless surround sound headphones which, at that point, were stated as due to become available from November, however, the release date came and went with the RP-WF5500 headphones being notable only for their absence. At last, however, after what appears to be some teething troubles, Panasonic’s RP-WF5500 5.1channel wireless surround sound headphones look set to become available.

You can read our original posting concerning Panasonic’s RP-WF5500 headphones by linking to Panasonic Announces Worlds Most Compact Wireless 5.1 Surround Sound Headphones but, by way of a quick refresher, the headphones – which offer around six hours of endurance based on a full charge – offer a frequency response of 20-20,000Hz, 40mm drivers and fully support Dolby Digital 5.1, DTS and AAC standards.

Panasonic’s RP-WF5500 5.1Channel Wireless Surround Sound Headphones will at last become available from July 1st, with pre-orders already being accepted, and will set you back around $230.
