Xerox have just released their new ultra slim Xerox 7600 flatbed scanner which is aimed at small/home office professionals and students courtesy of its low price point, though the 7600 certainly doesn’t skimp of features in coming with Visioneer’s ‘OneTouch’ scanning technology – serving to simplify the scanning process – as well as dedicated buttons for scanning, copying, scanning to OCR and scanning directly to email.
Capable of producing scans up to 1200 x 1200 dpi in 24-bit colour with hardware supersampling serving to push the resolution into the 2400 dpi bracket, the Xerox 7600 comes bundled with Nuance’s PaperPort 11 SE document management software and ArcSoft’s PhotoImpression 5.0 image editing application and creativity studio.
