Sanyo Intro CE52SR1 Weatherproof (Waterproof) 52” LCD HDTV [CE52SR1 Featuring ‘Marine Grade’ Construction]

It seems that Sanyo are having an especially busy day in terms of announcing new electronics as, having just announced their PLC-XP200L projector, they have also just taken the wraps off their up and coming CE52SR1 weatherproof/waterproof 52” LCD HDTV featuring anti-reflective and tamper-proof glass and frame constructed from marine grade anodized aluminum for ‘long lasting performance under adverse conditions’.

Offering full HD 1920 x 1080 HD resolution, Sanyo’s CE52SR1 comes with a contrast ratio of 1500:1 pared with what Sanyo term as a ‘sun-readable feature’ allowing the CE52SR1’s output to remain visible even in strong sunlight.

Announced by Mark Holt, the Vice President and General Manager for Sanyo’s Presentation Technologies Division, who states that ‘the CE52SR1 expands Sanyo’s lineup of industry leading specialty LCD displays. Our customers have asked for larger and brighter waterproof displays and the CE52S1 delivers on both counts’ the CE52SR1 comes with a “no holes” ventilation system facilitating cooling whilst ensuring that the unit is protected from dust and prevailing weather conditions and can even be combined in a set up of up 25 units gaining input from a single signal for signage and public display purposes.
