Samsung Digimax i100 10.2MP Compact Personal Multimedia Digital Camera

Along with unveiling their new i80 8.1MP camera as featured yesterday, Samsung have also announced another i-Series point and shoot digital camera in the form of their i100 which, like the aforementioned i80, serves to bundle together both camera and multimedia (PMP) functionalities in a highly compact design.

Designed, it would seem, squarely at those looking for a particularly pocket friendly snapper that will capture holiday snaps with ease – the i100 comes complete with an electronic World Tour Guide offering images and explanations of famous attractions in 2,600 areas, in no less than 30 countries – the camera, like the i80, also offers MP3 playback complete with SRS technology, dual image stabilisation and a raft of scene modes that should leave you free to capture the moment as opposed to fiddle with a host of settings. And, once again, like the i80 it will also capture video in MPEG4 format.
- 10.2 Megapixel Resolution
- Dual Image Stabilisation
- Intelligent Face Detection
- 3x Optical Zoom
- Fast ISO3200
- 256MB Internal Memory
- SD, SDHC, MMC Storage Expandability
- PMP Capabilities
No word as yet concerning either Samsung’s i100 availability or pricing.
