INNO Design’s Intro INNO-B0 Ultra Compact 1GB Digital Audio Player

In an age when size (or, rather, the lack of it) is seemingly the primary focus when it comes to consumer electronics, Korean company, INNO Design, have acted to wholly embrace the miniature revolution by revealing their new INNO-B0 1GB Digital Audio Player, which, in being designed to be worn as a necklace, has the distinction of being roughly the same size as a (admittedly somewhat large) coin.

Measuring in at 40mm in diameter and just 16mm in depth (the Shuffle comes in at 41.2 x 27.3 x 10.5mm, incidentally), the INNO-B0 DAP is in actual fact a rather rudimentary device that appears to be receiving a great deal of hype at the time of writing though we’re not entirely sure why (perhaps we’re missing something here?).

The INNO-B0 comes sans display, offers three play modes (repeat/folder/shuffle), MP3/WMA file format support and, as far as playback endurance is concerned, will offer up around 10 hours of tunes before its battery gives up the ghost – and if that isn’t the specifications of a severely base-level DAP we really don’t now what are.
INNO Design’s INNO-B0 1GB DAP will go on sale in Korea tomorrow for around 59,800(KRW) which equates to roughly $58/£29/€37 at the time of writing though, even at this especially low price point you’ll excuse us for giving it a miss (not that we live in Korea anyway).
