For those of you looking to add a more personalised nature to your emails or for those for whom time is of the essence and who can speak somewhat faster than they can type (which is, let’s face it, the majority of us) this Email Voice Sender, which, apart from sporting a title that is about as inspiring as our own (yes, it really is that poor), measures in at roughly the size of a standard computer mouse could be just what you’re looking for.
In practice, or at last so it would appear, sending a recorded voice message with the Email Voice Recorder is the essence of simplicity itself. Simply depress the record button to record your voice message – the first one you send with this device almost certainly being along the lines of ‘I’m sending this with my new Email Voice Recorder…’ – then press the send button at which point, according to the product site, ‘your message will be transported via email to the intended party without any software on their part necessary’.

Roughly translated then, the device attaches the recording as a file to your mail prior to sending though whether you have to have the mail message already on screen and addressed to your intended recipient is wholly unclear (unless the device reads your mind and subsequently looks through your address book and finds their mail address for you which, let’s be honest here, it probably doesn’t).
Of course this is easily done with something as basic as the recorder provided by your operating system a little thought but there’s now doubt that this Email Voice Sender certainly offers rather more convenience.
The Email Voice Sender will play ball with Windows 2000, ME, XP, Vista and carries a list price of just under $40.
