On a day where the news seems to be somewhat dominated by iPod and iPhone related posts, we simply couldn’t pass up on offering a brief heads up concerning DLO’s iBoom Juke Box iPod Docking Station if only on account of the fact that, as far as iPod docking stations go, the DLO iBoom Juke Box comes with one of the coolest docking station remotes we’ve come across.

Measuring in at 300×190×240mm, the DLO iBoom Juke Box iPod Docking Station is compatible with all ‘dockable’ iPods, from the Nano though to the iTouch, and comes with a two speaker units in the form of a 1” tweeter and a 3” subwoofer delivering 5W output apiece and, naturally, as one would expect, will serve to charge any docked iPod, but the undoubted star of the show, certainly as far as we are concerned, is the iBoom Juke Box’s ‘Music Display’ RF remote which comes complete with integrated display serving to offer information such as track title, playback progress and even cover art. Interestingly, however, whilst a good few sites have featured the iBoom Juke Box today we are rather surprised that not one that we’ve come across has made mention of the iBoom Juke Box’s decidedly swanky remote (then again, copy and pasting post content has never been something that especially appealed to us and we do go that extra distance to bring you just a little more insight than many).

Due for release in Japan sometime in June, with further international rollouts coming soon after, DLO’s iBoom Juke Box iPod Docking Station is set to retail for around ¥29800 (which equates to around $293 / €182 / £143 as at the time of writing).
