T-Mobile Launches Nokia N5310 XpressMusic Cell Phone in US

T-Mobile have, at long last, announced the up and coming US availability of Nokia’s N5310 XpressMusic Cell Phone, which, incidentally, has been available in other markets for some time, with T-Mobile’s press release proclaiming that the handset will come pre-loaded with ‘two exclusive new hits’ from Panic At The Disco and Phantom Planet as well as their myFaves application.

Due to become available from May 28 from T-Mobile retail stores as well as via the T-Mobile online webstore, for those that are not familiar with the Nokia’s N5310 XpressMusic cell phone we can advise that, measuring in at 1.76” x 4.09” x 0.39”, the N5310 is a Tri-band 850/1800/1900 MHz GSM, GPRS, EDGE handset sporting a 2” QVGA 240 x 320 16M colour QVGA display that comes with integrated digital music player offering a series of dedicated media hotkeys, AAC, eAAC+, MP3 and WMA file format compatibility complete with album art support (as well as built in FM tuner), and comes with Bluetooth connectivity, a somewhat rudimentary 2MP camera with 4x digital zoom and is offered inclusive of a 1GB microSD memory card to get you started (though the handset will support up to 4GB).
Announced by Frank Vium, Vice President of Sales, Nokia USA, who states that T-Mobile believes that ‘the feature-rich, well-designed Nokia 5310 XpressMusic phone will be well-received with music lovers across the United States, who also appreciate all the functionality of a great phone’ the N5310 will purportedly set you back just shy of $50 with a two-year contract at the time of release next week.
