If your standard desktop keyboard is not quite up to the level of hardship, knocks and spills you put it through perhaps this new DT-5K-MEM-TP Industrial Membrane Keyboard from iKey is just what you need as it’s built to withstand just about anything you can throw at it and, being crevice free, it’s a breeze to clean (and, yes, we are avoiding certain puns and references here, though its proving extremely difficult).

Designed specifically for industrial use, the DT-5K-MEM-TP ‘tough guy’ keyboard sports a hard-coated, textured, polyester film and slightly raised, mechanical snap-dome keys and, as mentioned above, thanks to being crevice free should you find that it becomes covered in liquids (we’re thinking beer, you can think what you like) it should prove extremely easy to clean as, according to iKey’s press release, you can simply ‘spray it down’. Yes, indeed.

The DT-5K-MEM-TP also comes with an integrated Synaptics touchpad sealed under a layer of PVC, so those who are prone to spillages and who have a particular penchant for PVC ought to find this a particularly alluring device.
