
If you’re in the market for a new monitor that’s capable of displaying 1080p HD quality imagery but will prove easy on the pocket, you may be interested in Hanns-G’s new 28” HG281DJ TFT LCD which, apart from offering 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution also comes with HDMI as well as VGA connectivity and integrated stereo speakers.
Apart from sporting WUXGA resolution, the Hanns-G’s 28” HG281DJ TFT LCD comes with two built-in speakers rated at 2.5 watts apiece, swivel base with physical anti-theft security thanks to a Kensington lock slot, and offers 5ms response time and 800:1 contrast ratio (neither of which are especially spectacular – but, as the adage goes, you get what you pay for).

Capable if not especially mind-blowing, Hanns-G’s new 28” HG281DJ TFT LCD retails for around £330 (approximately $640 / €415 at the time of writing) which, all said and done, is an especially keen price point (and enough for us to put aside the above criticisms).
