Nyko Wii Balance Board Energy Pack

Today (09/05/08) just happens to be the event of my wife’s birthday – (Happy Birthday, Sam) – and it also just so happens that she got to unbox her new Wii Fit this very morning, so it seems apt that, in an all too transparent bid to all to chisel in my best birthday wishes, we offer a heads up concerning Nyko’s up and coming Wii Balance Board Energy Pack.

For the countless hundreds of thousands of you who have already had the pleasure of Wii Fit categorising you as obese, and for the few that haven’t, Nyko’s Wii Balance Board Energy Pack has been designed to offer a solution to the annoying problem of your Wii Balance Board running out of juice just as you beat your personal best – thereby not saving said achievement. By offering an ‘AC Port Relocater’ Nyko’s Wii Balance Board Energy Pack not only charges your batteries, but it can even do so whilst the board is in use; thus ensuring that to circumvent those annoying power downs.

Users will be able to recharge the Wii Balance Board while in use or in between gaming sessions, all without ever needing to flip the board over to switch out battery packs.’

The Wii Balance Board Energy Pack has been designed to fit snugly under your Wii Balance Board and is set to be released on May 19th (08) with a retail price of around $20.
