Dynaudio Announce New Excite Hi-End X-Series Loudspeakers [Excite X12, X16, X22, X32 & X36]

Danish company Dynaudio have announced a new series Excite hi-end loudspeakers, designed as successors to its popular and highly acclaimed Audience range, consisting of no less than five new models – namely the Excite X12, X16, X22, X32 & X36 – all of which promise audiophile quality sound reproduction courtesy of Dynaudio’s new driver technology offering MSP (magnesium silicate polymer) membranes, die-cast aluminum frame baskets, lightweight aluminum voice coils, phase aligned first-order crossover networks and soft dome tweeters.

The new Excite loudspeaker series is detailed separately below, for those looking to hone in on details, but basically consist of a series of 2-way and 3-way floor standing, and compact speaker units finished in either rosewood, cherry, black ash or maple and ranging in price from $850 each (the Excite X22 centre speaker) to $3600 for a pair of 3-way X36’s offering dual 18cm woofers and 11cm midrange cones.
