Sharp have announced that their already available HT-DV50H Home Cinema System is to somewhat usurped by their new, larger HT-DV50H Home Cinema System which, apart from being billed as the perfect accompaniment to Sharp’s Aquos LCD TVs, offers high power 75W RMS per channel speakers and a 100W subwoofer and comes complete with HDMI output and DivX compatibility (which, we would argue, is pretty much a prerequisite of any home cinema system these days).
Sharp HT-DV50H Home Cinema System Key Features:
- 2.1Ch DVD Cinema With Audistry, HDMI (1080i) Output & DivX.
- Total 250W RMS output power (75W/Ch + 100W Subwoofer)
- HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) output type 1080i
- 2.1Ch with subwoofer and tall boy speakers
- Intelligent volume control
- DVD/VCD/MP3/WMA/ JPEG/CD-R/RW playable
- FM stereo digital tuner with RDS
- USB host
- 5-Mode Preprogrammed electronic equalizer
- Full function remote control
Capable, if not mind blowing in any particular respect (Sharp’s somewhat concise press release and especially uninspiring press imagery serves to underpin this observation), Sharp’s HT-DV50H Home Cinema System will become available in the UK from the end of April and will retail for around £400.
