
Philips have unveiled their latest cell phone in the form of the Philips M600 Music Cell Phone which comes with integrated SRS WOW technology and is aimed squarely at the increasingly lucrative and ever expanding Chinese consumer electronics market.
The GSM dual band 900/1800 MHz Philips M600, apart from featuring SRS WOW sound processing technology – offering enhanced sound quality and expanded, surround sound spatial effects – offers MP3, WAV and AAC file format compatibility, comes with dedicated media quick launch and control keys and purportedly offers up to 40 hours of music playback on a single full charge.

Measuring in at 10.5 x 4.4 x 1.5cm, there’s no word at the time of writing whether the M600 will be released outside China though the handset does allow for T9 text input not only in Chinese Simplified and Chinese Traditional, but also English, French, Russian or Turkish.
