Kodak ESP 5 All-in-One Colour Printer

Kodak have announced the immediate availability of their new ESP 5 All-in-One Colour Inkjet Printer which comes with integrated scanner offering, as one would naturally assume, scanning and copying functionality and which, according to Kodak, uses up to 50% less ink than comparable devices.

Randy Brody, Worldwide Marketing Director of Inkjet Systems at Kodak, announced the availability of Kodak’s new ESP 5 AiO printer, stating that the device proves that ‘Kodak is delivering on its promise to end ink profiteering. We are focusing on delivering easy-to-use products that provide superb-quality and save up to 50 percent on everything they print compared to similar consumer inkjet printers.’

The a two-cartridge, six-ink ESP 5, which is billed as being capable of printing Kodak Lab Quality 4 x 6″ (10 x 15cm) borderless photos in as little as 30 seconds and supports standard document printing at up to 30 pages per minute in mono and 29 pages per minute in colour, also comes complete with 3″ colour LCD and integral USB/memory card slots allowing for imagery to be printed, and edited, directly from storage devices without the need to fire up your PC.

The Kodak ESP-5 EasyShare All-in-One Printer is now available for around $170 with supplemental ink cartridges retailing for $10 (black) and $15 (five ink colour).
