Westinghouse 16” Portable ‘Flexible Lifestyle’ LCD HDTV [PT-16H610S]

Westinghouse have revealed a new 16” LCD HDTV unit, the PT-16H610S, which, thanks to its dual hinge design, removable bevel and base mounted touch keypad, can be used either as a self-supporting and highly portable stand alone HDTV (ideal for HD occasional gaming), wall mounted or even placed under kitchen cabinets.

The 16:9 aspect ratio PT-16H610S LCD HDTV comes with ATSC/NTSC/ClearQAM tuner, front mounted stereo speakers rated at 3.5W and offers 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p (HDMI) HD compatibility paired with 8ms response time and 500:1 contrast ratio, however, what it not clear is quite how resilient it would prove in a kitchen environment in terms of splash and steam resistance.

Due to be made available at Target stores, Westinghouse’s 16” Portable ‘Flexible Lifestyle’ LCD HDTV will purportedly retail around the $330 price point.
