Samsung Unveil Armani Styled Designer LCD HDTV

Little in the way of detail has been made available by Samsung concerning this Armani HDTV which has been unveiled at the I Saloni 2008 show in Italy but we simply could not pass up on featuring it here if only because, from a styling perspective, its so phenomenally dull that its got us stumped.
Quite how much input Armani had in the design process is, at this early stage, open to speculation, but if either Samsung or Armani think that they’ve created an item of extreme beauty and aesthetic desirability then we can only wonder if they’ve lost the plot. It’s far from being hideous, certainly, but, ironically, if it were hideous at least it would have some sort of character. Or, to put this into somewhat more perspective, compare this with Dell’s Crystal Widesceen LCD Flat Panel Monitor in terms of sheer ‘wow’ factor. Exactly.
No word as yet concerning pricing or availability of Samsung’s Armani 120Hz HDTV but its safe to assume that it’ll be far from cheap.
