Ramos Digital V8 Portable Media Player

Whilst still in development, it has to be said that the up and coming V8 PMP from Ramos is certainly a looker – though the inevitable (now very boring) comparisons with Apple’s iTouch are sure to be made as is seemingly obligatory these days – and, though details are extremely sparse at the time of writing, Ramos have at least offers some insight as to its new PMP’s abilities.

Built around a 4.3” display – which may of may not offer touchscreen capabilities (feel free to speculate, we suspect not) – Ramos’s V8 will offer MP4, AVI, DivX, RMVB, MP3, WMA and FLAC file format compatibility as well as TV output and e-Book functionality and, whilst next to nothing is known concerning the device’s operating system is has been confirmed that the V8 will automatically detect orientation thus changing the display from portrait to landscape automatically.

No news concerning either pricing or availability at this early stage.
