Parrot PARTY Black Edition NFC Enabled Bluetooth Portable Speaker

Parrot have announced their up and coming PARTY Black Edition NFC enabled Bluetooth speaker system which is designed to compliment other Near Field Communication equipped media devices, such as Nokia’s 6212 Classic NFC cell phone, as well as future NFC devices, by facilitating pairing, according to Parrot’s press release, by simply by touching the devices together.

Parrot’s NFC enabled PARTY Black Edition Bluetooth Speaker, which, as the name suggests, will also pair with non-NFC devices courtesy of Bluetooth, is built around a Class-D amplifier powering two drivers offering 6W of total output sports a battery life of up to eight hours based on a two and a half hour full charge (though can also be mains powered) and comes complete with Stereo Widening and Virtual SuperBass audio enhancements.

Parrot’s PARTY Black Edition NFC enabled Bluetooth portable speaker will become available sometime in the Summer (08) with a price tag of around £80 ($158 equivalent at the time of writing).
