Whilst we’ve come across many iPod speaker systems this E-Light Outdoor Entertainment Light has the distinction of being the first ever speaker system that we’ve come across that not only serves as a lighting unit but is designed to be mounted on your outside umbrella pole.
Billed as being ideal for alfresco dining, the E-Light simply attaches to your umbrella pole where not only can it offer soft illumination courtesy of six high output LEDs but it can pump out a little music to eat to thanks to its acoustically balanced stereo speakers (output unknown) with connectivity to your iPod or other MP3 device being offered by a standard headphone jack.
Powered by 4 AA rechargeable batteries (included), the E-Light offers up to six hours of sound and light or 12 hours of endurance with either just light or sound and retails for around $60.
