
Alienware have announced that its award winning Aurora desktop, a popular computer with gamers until its production was previously ceased, is to make a ‘triumphant (Vista powered) return sporting a quad core AMD Phenom 9850 Black Edition processor or AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ CPU and a host of graphics options, including dual ATI Radeon 3870X2 GPUs.
The new Alienware Aurora, which will be supplied with either Vista Home Premium or Vista Ultimate operating systems, will be made available with a host of user-end options, as is customary, with choices of single or dual HHDs offering up to 300GB capacity, 20x dual layer CD-RW/DVD±RW, Bluray and up to 4GB of RAM with 7.1 sound, 8 USB ports, 2x IEEE 1394b (9-pin) and a E-SATA port as well as Alienware’s AlienIce™ 3.0 high-performance cooling ad choice of standard or AlienFX system lighting effects being on offer.

Priced from $999, Alienware’s new Aurora, whose return is certain to be warmly welcomed by Alienare’s many devotees, has just been made available for order at the time of writing.
