Canon Announce PIXMA iP100 Portable Colour Printer

Those looking for a highly portable, easily transportable colour printer for use with notebooks/laptops whilst on the move may be interested in Cannons new PIXMA iP100 printer which is sure to prove the ideal travelling companion for those requiring hard copies of documents whilst away from the office.
Offering a maximum resolution of 9600 x 2400 DPI and measuring a mere 2.4” in depth, Cannon’s PIXMA iP100 portable colour printer, apart from offering borderless printing also comes with Auto Image Fix technology offering optimised photographic quality print outs as well as laser sharp text output and print output speeds of up to twenty pages per minute in greyscale and fourteen pages per minute in colour (letter size).

Coming complete with a PictBridge port allowing for printing directly from a digital camera or camcorder as well as wireless printing capabilities courtesy of an integrated IrDA port as well offering optional Bluetooth connectivity, Cannon’s PIXMA iP100 Portable Colour Printer can also be supplied with an optional Lithium Ion battery offering a purported 290 page print endurance based on a mere three hour charge.
According to Cannon’s press release, the PIXMA iP100 Portable Colour Printer will become available sometime this month for around $250.
