JMTek USB Crossbox Data Transfer Tool Makes Transferring Files Between PCs a Breeze

File Migration

JMTek Crossbox

If you’re looking to regularly transfer files between PCs running Windows 98SE, ME, 2000, XP based operating systems that are not networked then this USB device from JMTek, known as the Crossbox, has been designed to make matters easier than swapping across USB flash drives or optical discs.

A USB 2.0 device, JMTek’s Crossbox offers data transfer speeds of up to 15MB/sec over a maximum distance of around 4ft courtesy of its integrated USB-USB cable and is, according to JMTek, capable of transferring files from one PC to another far faster than using flash based storage media though, in honesty, we can see the device being of limited interest except to those looking to migrate files on a particularly regular basis and who, for whatever reason, wish to avoid setting up a home network (a far more practical/speedy alternative).
