HKC Announce W1000 & G1000 Dual SIM Windows Powered Smartphone [Dual Network Pocket PC Cell Phone]

Whilst we’ve seen dual SIM cell phones before these HKC W1000 and HKC G1000 Dual SIM devices are the first dual SIM Windows Mobile devices that, thanks to allowing you to operate the device simultaneously on two GSM networks, allow you to keep business and personal based calls, for instance, strictly separated without the need to lug around two separate handsets.

Powered by a 200MHz Qualcomm 6025 CPU with 256MB ROM and 64MB RAM – which can be supplemented with Micro SD cards up to 4GB – and sporting a 6.5M colour 2.8” TFT QVGA touchscreen, the HKC W1000 is a GPRS / EDGE / CDMA device running the Windows Mobile 6 for Pocket PC operating system with integrated Word, Powerpoint and Excel applications, comes with Bluetooth, a (rather lame) 2 megapixel camera and, on account of the fact that the G1000 variant of HKC’s Dual SIM device seems to sport the same feature set, though aimed at the English market, it is the W1000’s specifications we’ve opted to feature below.
