Fujitsu Gets Organic with Cedar Wood WoodShell Laptop & Pant Plastic Notebook Concepts

Fujitsu are by no means the first electronics giant to ‘embrace’ (a strong word considering this laptop is merely a concept at the time of writing) sustainable, organic materials in a bid to appeal an increasingly aware and discerning eco-aware consumer market their WoodShell Laptop Concept is one of the most appealing wood shelled laptops we’ve come across.
One of the exhibits showcasing Japan Design Innovation 2008 at the Salone Internazionale Del Mobile being held from in Milan, Fujitsu’s WoodShell Laptop concept is also being displayed with the less than inspiring named FMV-BIBLO NX95Y/D notebook which utilises plant-based plastics in its shell design (which, from an aesthetic perspective at least, is rather less alluring than the WoodShell).

Both exhibits can be seen at the Salone Internazionale Del Mobile show in Milan between April 16 to April 20.
