OCZ Technology Announces 32MB & 64MB SATA II Solid State Drives

OCZ Technology have announced their new SATA II 2.5” Solid State Drive (SSD) which, aimed specifically at high end notebooks, will come in 32GB or 64GB capacities and boasts read/write speeds of up to 120MB/sec and 100MB/sec respectively.
Sporting a rather fetching lightweight brushed alloy housing, OCZ Technology’s SATA II 2.5” Solid State Drive measures in at 100.2 x 70 x 9.5mm, weighs just 77g and, of course, in being a solid state drive (no moving parts) boasts considerable shock resistance (measured as 1500G) and extremely low power consumption levels.

Boasting a purported two million hour MTBF (mean time before failure) life expectancy, pricing and availability details concerning OCZ Technology’s SATA II 32 and 64 MB 2.5” Solid State Drives are yet to have been divulged at the time of writing.
