CallMe Prism-i LCD Display Conveys Your Phone Number to Other Drivers – But Why?

We’re at somewhat of a loss as far as this seemingly curious gadget is concerned as we cannot quite fathom why you would want an LCD display stuck to the inside of your car’s rear window displaying your phone number – unless, of course, you’ve looked in the mirror and caught the eye of a particularly fine blonde behind (then, and only then, it would make total sense).

Billed as an ‘artificial intelligence driving monitoring system’ (though this may be down to the peculiarities of a machine based translation from Korean into English), the CallMe Prism-I can store up to ten phone numbers any of which can be displayed on the scrolling 13 digit LCD screen which, thanks to an integrated solar sensor, will automatically back light the display (in either blue, sky blue or green) in low lighting situations – and, from what we can gather, the solar panel also seems to serve to power the device during daylight hours with batteries acting as backup.

It’ll also randomly conjure lotto numbers. Which is nice.

Perhaps we’ve missing something here (and I’m sure we must be), but unless this has been specifically designed as a ‘pulling’ gadget we really don’t get it. Perhaps a kindly reader who happens to be fluent in Korean could set our minds at rest as to what exact purpose this curious device is supposed to serve lest we end up not sleeping at night.
