This interesting device manufactured by RipFactory and known as the RipServer has not only been designed to serve as a network attached storage (NAS) device offering up to 1TB of capacity and Linux compatibility but as a high quality CD ripper and a UPnP media server.
Billed as a ‘consumer first’ and capable of running independently without being hooked up to a network as well as a NAS, ripping a CD via the RipFactory RipServer couldn’t be easier – simply insert the CD in question and, hey presto, the device will do the rest. Nice.
