Apparently inspired by a fusion of African, Asian, South and Central American ancient art and culture blended together with an ‘urban edge’ these MiniGod Desktop Speaker systems are sure to ward away evil spirits from your desktop environment with what is more than probably fairly poor sound quality (an effective deterrent indeed) but who can argue that these speakers are anything but guaranteed head turners.
Presently available in two versions (MG1 Brazil & MG2 Mexico) these MiniGod speakers stand some 16” in height and, thanks to offering a minijack connector, will plug into anything with a headphone socket and, quite apart from relying solely upon the source for amplification even come with integrated amplification units powered by a 9v battery – which really ought to give you an idea as to their amplification abilities. Curiously, however, (or, perhaps, not so?) we are unable to establish exactly what output these MiniGods are capable of.

Still, from our perspective at least, we had always visualised vertically challenged gods to have tweeters embedded in their foreheads so we find these strictly limited edition MiniGods somewhat reassuring.
Retailing for around $120 a pop, we strongly suspect that these strictly limited edition MiniGod Desktop Speakers may appeal to those looking for distinctive styling over and above breathtaking sound reproduction but, as the saying goes, different things appeal to different people and, with these MiniGod Desktop Speakers in mind, who could say anything other than viva l’difference.
