Without the slightest of fanfares, initial details concerning SanDisk’s up and coming Sanza Fuze PMP, a device that is obviously aimed squarely at cutting into sales of Apple’s Nano, have appeared on Amazon.
At the time of writing, whilst red, black and pink versions of SanDisk’s Sansa Fuze are listed on Amazon only the listing for the red version has a product image added and, at the time of writing, the blue Fuze (which is known to be forthcoming) is unlisted, however, thanks to the listing of the others we have got our first insight into SanDisk’s new PMP capabilities.

SanDisk Sansa Fuze Concise Specifications:
4GB (we suspect other capacities are pending)
1.9” Display
Voice Recorder
MicroSD / MicroSDHC expandability
WMA/MP3/MPEG4 File format compatibility
24hrs audio playback /5hrs Video playback (based on full charge)
Listed for a retail price of $99.99, we’ll be interested to see whether first impressions of SanDisk’s Sansa Fuze are favourable. Will this player transpire to be a true iPod Nano alternative? Time will tell.
(Our apologies for the poor quality of the imagery in this post, however, this is all we had to work with).
