Play-NYC iPhone Lego Simulator – Make Virtual Lego Models on Your iPhone

If the prospect of tapping away on a virtual iPhone based drum kit doesn’t quite do it for you, but you’re looking for something to help relieve (for example) the boredom of commuting, how about building virtual Lego models on your iPhone courtesy of this rather cool LEGO Touch Lego simulator from Play-NYC.

Admittedly at the time of writing this LEGO Touch software aimed at Apple’s iPhone is merely at the conceptual stage, so is not commercially obtainable, however if prospective consumer interest is anything to go by we’ll warrant that it won’t be long until we see this iPhone Lego simulator become available – be it in this version or a comparable product by another company.

Play-NYC’s iPhone Lego Simulator, apart from just allowing you to build virtual models, also comes with a Lego character creator which can be posted to represent yourself (marvellous) as well as Lego inspired game sand a ‘Lego Build-off Challenge’ mode whereby you compete against others to build models whilst achieving certain goals in the shortest time.

A vision of sheer genius, certainly as far as we are concerned, we just hope that licensing issues don’t prove a stumbling block though it wouldn’t surprise us if Lego step in to offer the financial backing required to realise this software commercially (the forward thinking company they are).

Come on Lego, let’s see you back this venture. After all, who in their right mind could possibly envisage this iPhone Lego Simulator as being anything other than a runaway commercial success?
