Purported Xbox 360 Price Cut in Europe - Xbox Arcade Console Cheaper than Wii

According to a number of rumours circulating around the net, Microsoft look set to implement a price cut across its entire range of Xbox 360 HD gaming consoles with the result being that Microsoft’s Xbox 360 Arcade console (sans hard drive) will actually be cheaper to purchase this Easter than Nintendo’s ever popular Wii.
The rumour, which has apparently been substantiated by a number of hardware vendors, states that the price cut will amount to a reduction in price of €50 (circa £38) per Xbox unit and, considering Canada has already seen comparable price reductions, it really is about time too.
The new pricing structure appears to be due to come into force on 14 March 08, just in time for Easter, so if you are looking to purchase an Xbox console now we would advise that you hold back a short while or face kicking yourself when the price reductions come into force – you’ll be saving yourself the price of a game.
