Buffalo Dual HDD LinkStation Mini Offers 1TB of External Storage

Buffalo 1TB LinkStation Mini External HDD

If the previously featured Buffalo MiniStaion TurboUSB 500GB External HDD is a little restrictive in terms of available storage capacity (what with all those videos you keep downloading) you may be interested in Buffalo’s new 1TB LinkStation Mini which, in offering two 500GB 2.5” drives within a single, highly portable unit, serves to double the capacity of the aforementioned drive.

Buffalo 1TB LinkStation Mini External HDD Detail

Due to become available sometime in March for around $824 / £415, which equates to a mere 82 cents / 41 pence per gigabyte (not that you needed a calculator to work that out) Buffalo’s 1TB LinkStation Mini serves as the latest shot in what is a particularly fierce external storage war that shows no signs of abating and time soon as us consumers look for ever increasing volumes of additional ‘pocketable’ space.

We await (especially) LaCie’s retaliation with acute interest.
