Supplied in self-assembly kit form, the plastic Wind Generator Wind Turbine Kit comes complete with motor which, once harnessing the power of the wind, creates enough electricity to light an integrated coloured LED and, well, that’ pretty much it.

Granted, on paper at least, it doesn’t sound especially mind-blowing and, all said and done, it really isn’t, but it’s a cool kit none-the-less and, as alluded to previously, undoubtedly a great resource for teachers and parents looking to introduce young impressionable minds to premise of environmentally friendly power generation – which is a noble cause indeed (and just think of the energy you will have saved having dispossessed your child of the TV for thirty minutes or so).
