Having worked every day pretty much without exception for as long as we can remember, except for when we experienced a family loss, the time has come for me to recharge my somewhat depleted batteries so TFTS will be taking a two week break as the wife and I jet off to Perth, Australia to look around what we hope one day will prove to be our home.

Boston Dynamics have released new, remarkable video footage of their robotic quadruped ‘pack mule’ in action showing just how far developed this DARPA funded robot’s sense of balance has developed – even to the extent that it can maintain its balance whilst climbing obstacles and when loosing its grip on black ice (as well as being kicked).

Avid computer gamers will now that the quality and versatility of your keyboard and mouse can impact heavily on your gaming prowess and many are the frags I’ve missed out on merely on account of my keyboard letting me down (that’s my story, and I’m sticking to it) but we suspect that, armed with this new BTC 9051H Cheetah Professional Backlit Gaming Keyboard And Mouse combo the only thing to let us down would be our hopeless ineptitude rather than our hardware.

BenQ have introduced their new BenQ V2400W 24” LCD Monitor which, apart from being billed as ‘the world’s thinnest 24” LCD Monitor’ is apparently inspired by the likes of the Northrop B2 Spirit stealth bomber though, in all honestly, we find it hard (if not impossible) to draw any comparisons with a flat screen monitor and the fluid stealthy form of the Spirit.
